CG 5050 & Perfecar TSW - same price?

I was going to order some Perfecar TSW, but i came across CG 5050 for the same price ($49).

I know TSW is an 8oz jar, but i cant find any info on the 5050. Im guessing maybe the 5050 is a smaller jar, because everyone says 5050 is supposed to be so much more expensive.

I have the links, but im not sure if i can post them here or not.

btw...ive been out of the detailing game for a while now, and I am just making a return now, so if ive missed something, and this has been covered somewhere, let me know.:confused:
 
Hmmm . . . I don't know what size the CG 5050 is. However, I remember the guy from Perfecar saying TSW and 5050 are the same wax because his products are re-labeled CG products.

I would email one of the stores you are thinking of buying the 5050 from to see what size the container is. I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you.

yea, i know they are the EXACT same wax, but the CG5050 can looks cooler:lol:

the same guy said not all the products were chmical guys stuff and theat THE SHOW WINNER was going to be a proprietary new formula soon.

I would definately go with CG. Give Paul a call toll free. He is great and may even throw in some samples (did for me). The cans if I remember, its at home, is at least 8oz. I think a bit more. My new favorite along with souveran.

I read the same thing. One day the guys says they have many CG stuff, then says it is a small portion of their inventory. As for the new formulation, presumably better (but what else would one say), is ohbviously going to be done by CG. I find it hard to believe that CG would not themselves try to keep their own product as good as they can and also reformulate/improve as time goes on. Who knows, but for now I would stick to getting it from the source.
