CD2 Engine detailing kit

It is getting harder and harder every day to find the stuff. Online is pretty much the only option and about $8 bucks a can is what you can expect to pay. Or you can buy it by the case for about $50 bucks. Either way, I think it is time for us to ween ourselves off of CD2 and find something that is easier to get ahold of. It does me no good to run out of something I have to special order every time I need more. Sooner or later it will be impossible to find and I want to break myself of it while I can.

Who makes it,and can we contact the company? Maybe we can do a group buy..

I believe it's actually made by . . . brace yourself . . . Turtle Wax. Luckily, I've been able to find another local auto parts chain that carries CD2. This is good, because I'm TOTALLY addicted to this stuff.

This would be fine for me as I only detail 1-5 car a year.

I found it here http://www.midwayautosupply.com

but wanted to double check if this is what you were refering to.

Thanks

That's the stuff. That is about the only place you can get it online too.

Thanks .. I want to order some for myself....

The only other question i have is... Does it stain the driveway?

Just had a new driveway installed just about 2 months ago and don't want to stain it or anything of the sort.

Thanks
Nick

If you are getting it on the driveway then you aren't using it right. The Engine Detailer part should only be sprayed on the hoses and plastics of your engine and shouldn't be rinsed off. The degreaser part is just like any other degreaser, but the detailer part is what we are all looking for.

I was told at Autozone that the CD2/Turlewax rep said it is being discontinued and what you find is what you get..once stock is gone thats it...it may be a VOC issue do not know....grab it while you can...but not for 7.98 a can plus shipping...use to be 3.98 a can...

Thanks for that
I was under the impression that this was like a all in one spray it on .. hose it off kind a thing .. so esentially I still have to Clean my engine compartment prior to using this stuff.

CD2 has a ton of additives and internal engine/fuel system cleaners, but I've never seen (ever) a can of Detailer.
