CCD cleaning Q.....

My CCD got something in it. I am dragging something (tar I think) from it. I guess I picked it up from a lower panel and I noticed it right away and wiped it off the car.



Question is, how to clean the CCD or just eat the $10 and go get another one.
 
See if you can locate the tar spot(s) in the California Car Duster (CCD) and cut the end of the thread that has tar on it.



Or buy a new one, I would not advise washing it (or it becomes just a large cotton brush)
