Cat Scratch =(

So I learned my lesson, had my cover off the car, and opened the garage door with the light off...

The cat was on the car, and when the garage door opened freaked out the cat...she started running on my smooth top with her claws out, now there are scratches...

I am pretty sure these are only surface scratches? I don't think they go much deeper...

Questions are:

Does anyone else know if these are surface scratches, I guess I will not know for sure till I try to polish them out...

And what polish should I use first to try to get them out before I have to sand...I am hoping I do not have to. Thanks...

Cat claws are similar to finger nails. They sure feel hard and sharp when they're digging into your skin but they're very soft compared to the sand and grit that usually attacks your paint.

Start with something mild like ScatchX and work your way up in aggressiveness as needed. ScratchX worked fine on the last set of cat scratches I had to remove.

PC.
