As I was doing my dishes and filling the rinse compartment on the dishwasher I got to thinking could this be used after a wash to rinse the car? Claims no spots or etching on your dishes. It contains a nonionic wetting agent, not quite sure what that is and if it would be harmful to the LSP or not. I know I know, I have too much time on my hands, however after being laidoff for 7 months I start a new job a week from Monday!
 
I would conjecture that this product is similar to the sheeting (uh-oh...there's that word again) agents that are already in many car washes. I have a personal theory that these agents are responsible for the streaking that happens with these washes if you let them dry on the surface (for instance, Meg's GC wash).
