Carpet Cleaner Chemicals....

I have read a few times that many people swear by using Oxy10 to clean carpets and fabric seats. Can someone tell me where one can purchase this stuff........I know it used to be on TV, but does places like Walmart carry it? Or is it from a sponsor. I have a friend who used to deliver pizzas and needs to clean a beige interior.........he needs something really strong to bring it back to life again........
 
I did a google search, and Oxy 10 came up as an acne medicine. :dunno

If you mean OxiClean, then you can buy it at places like Wal-mart etc. You can also find "generic" oxygen cleaners at buck stores. Don't know if they work as well or not.

Don't use this on your skin, it will do a lot more than remove acne



Bleach:
Chemically lightens or oxidizes as it is formulated with either sodium hypochlorite (Clorox® is a chlorine bleach) or hydrogen peroxide (Oxy-Cleanâ„¢ is an oxygen bleach that is also a strong alkaline, pH 10) both of these contain active ingredients that are generally considered to be corrosive. Bleach should never be mixed with other chemical cleaners, ammonia, or rust removers as the mixture can create toxic gases and volatile explosives. Prolonged contact with metal or fabric materials will cause pitting, etching, discoloration or erosion

I use a generic OxyClean (OxyMagic) and it works just as well as the name brand stuff. It does a great job of sucking up dirt. I also use 1:10 Simple Green for a pre-treater, it does an amazing job of cutting greasy stains and dissolving dirt, and it leaves a nice smell. I spray a good deal of simple green on the offending stain and a lesser amount everywhere else, then I pour the oxy mix everywhere, scrub like crazy, then use my green machine to extract. It works like a dream.
 
HI, started using oxyclean on carpets and uph. does a great job.I pre treat with a dollar store oxy cleaner type spray removes everything. You can get it at walmart, walgreens etc.
 
how do you use oxyclean, i just picked some up and am doing a detial tomrrow. Do i mix some in a bowl, and wipe on? If so how much water/oxyclean, and stuff. Someone help.
