Carnauba disguise orange peel?

Since carnaubas don't have quite the clear shine of a sealant, I was just wondering if they might conceal orange peal a bit. I don't mean make it completely unnoticeable but a little less so. Any opinions?

You're right that nuba' will somewhat masks OP. I use nubas' for that very reason. The OP won't go away completely, but it will look better anyway.

We have two Audis with identical paint. The one with UPP does show the OP more than the one with carnauba, but you can see it on both.

I've been waiting to post these pics for a while. Here is the same truck (exact) detailed at two different times.

The first time it recieved a cleaner wax and S100 topper.

The second time just NXT via rotary and a polishing pad

Difference...You tell me.

Sean, admit it, the first picture is after you wet sanded it ;) I can see your car way in the back.

Seriously, the difference is obvious. I believe DaveB mentioned that the carnaubas have distorting properties thus creating that "warm, fuzzy feeling", err, I meant look.

Different angles, different distance from vehicle and also the exposure appears different.

These differences are quite evident when comparing the reflections off the chrome where not LSP and orange peel exist. Check it out. The OP is also in the chrome and rubber????:nixweiss
