DETAILED TODAY?
whats the best way? i understand nothing abrasive!! just maintain it with a wax/sealant. i have read window cleaner is ok. is never dull a no no?

PB Pro-polish or a paint cleaner will work for cleaning it, those are chemical based polishes

Then a wax, sealant or both will do the trick.

The never dull is not the answer that's really for polish metals, non-clear coated
 
I have your same truck. Keep a good coat of wax on your grille or it will show pitting from travel on the highway. I'll have to get pics of mine to show you. During my long drives to Texas, DC, the Keys, etc., I needed to be stopping halfway to reapply some protection. Our grille is not very durable. Good luck with your Canyon!
