I was wondering what the general consensus is for the very best car wax these days. Any opinions on 5 Star Shine? Thanks.

You can also get a sealant that will work well also I use Wolfgangs which is a little steep in price but it one of the easiset things I've used on a car and it looks great.

There's not one "best."

There's lots and lots of very good ones, which may be considered "best" under individual circumstances to different people using them.

Long lasting - Zaino , Klasse , Duragloss #105 , Collinite 845 -476 . Great looks - Soverign , P21s(s100) , Wolfgang , NXT , FX. Their are many others.

You ask a kind of a loaded question.

I personally have never tried 5 Star Shine. Very well could be a great product.

Remember that the prep work is key to a good wax job. Regardless of what wax (or sealant) you choose to work with make sure you put the time in to do good prep work.

When you have some time read over some of the post on this board and you will quickly learn about different experiences and subtle nuance of different types of wax.
