Car Brite

Has anyone on here used any products from Car Brite? A guy I met at work uses their products and really seems to like them. A distributor comes around every 2 weeks and you can buy from his inventory on his truck. He also said they give a seminar one every 3 months or so and detail a car and show how to use their products. I was just curious to see if anyone on here has heard of them or used there products.

They have been around for years.
Quite an extensive line of products geared towards the professional market.
I have a friend that uses them a lot and is happy with the products and the pricing, but his main reason for using them is the rep stopping by to keep their product inventory up to date.
I also know of at least one car rental place that uses their products q lot with good results.
The products seem to be decent, but the size of containers would be a stretch for most hobby detailers.

He has given me a smaple of their Blue Max general purpose cleaner and it seems to do a pretty good job. He also gave me some of their nano wax to try too, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm researching alot on here and debating about starting a detail business on the side. I work for one of the "Big 3" automakers and with the way things look with all the down sizing, I would like to have a plan B up and going if and when it affected me. I enjoy cleaning cars and I do a friends Peterbilt on occasion. I'm no professional by any means, but I want to work towards becoming one and this forum has a wealth of information. I just want to find the best products to use and give the results I want in the least amount of time.

One thing to remember about detailing products in general...process is 90% product is 10%

You can take a well experienced detailer and with a cheap product still turn good to great results...on the other hand the most expensive line in the hands of inexperienced people can turn marginal results.

Some times people get caught up in the price of a car care product..thinking that higher cost equaltes better finish...that is not always the case.

I use some of Car Brite products on my show car and a friend uses Car Brite exclusively on his show car.
The car Brite truck comes to my home and delivers when I call him and order.
Some times I just have a friend who works in a body shop get what I want when the truck stops their.
I don't have a problem with buying by the gallon I have several different products in gallon containers it is cheaper and I know I'm going to use them

EXACTLY!!!

IMO: Just like any manufactures full line-up, some products are good, others are not so good. Most CarBrite distributors will give away free samples (as long as you're not milking it) for those serious about detailing. Also keep in mind that what works for me, might not for you. I think someone over at Meg's put it another way... "Find what works for you, and use it often"

Thanks for all the replies. I agree that the process is 90%, that's what I was trying to say, I want to learn the right process to achieve the best results. I have an '07 Dodge Quad Cab that is patriot blue. I had some very light holograms, hoping that is the right term, forgive my lack of expertese. Anyway, I bought the Porter Cable 7424 and used Hi-Temp's Smooth Cut, but I didn't use the right pad. I used a terry bonnet and thus didn't get the results I wanted. As you see, my process isn't up to the standards as most on this forum. This is what I want to learn, what product to use for any given problem and the right process. Once I learn that, I won't be like a dog chasing it's tail and spending hours to achieve the results I want, whereas if I use the right product with the right process, I can achieve the same result in less time.

Sorry guys/gals, I know what I want to say and don't know how to explain it clearly. Anyway, I appreciate all your replies.

the shop i used to work at used car brite and i got a free teeshirt !!!
cool guy on the truck and their products worked !
I personally liked the white milky substance we used for protecting and shining an audi S4 dashbord and it came up as black and shiny as ever couldnt have got any better looking and no greasy feel either ! and scented i believe as well !
