Car-Brite Seminars

Recently I was invited to attend a 2 day seminar at a Car-Brite seminar in Indy. Myself and one other detailer were the only 2 guests not emplyoeed with the company. Having never used Car Brite products before, I was glad I went. The seminar was broken down like this, first day classroom. Product information, chemicals, applications, etc. Second day was hands on, we detailed two cars, used their products, and were able to try different things, They had spare body parts (not the human type) that we experimented with. The last 3 days, we not did stay for, as they were dedicated toward their sales force. They treated us like welcome guests, bought lunch each day, even gave out samples, (I was told my goodie bag was worth over $100!) Thier was no charge for this either. If anyone lives close enough to attend one in the future, I would highly recommend it. For me, living in Chicago, it was only a few hours drive. I would like to hear from anyone using these products good or bad. Gary

Interesting post. I live in Indy. The Carbrite route truck passes my shop at least once a month (they supply a nearby Enterprise Rental location). They've never stopped.

AutoMagic, EagleOne, ZEP, ValuGard, and Malco reps call on me almost every week.

Not that I need another supplier...

I've been using Car Brite products for 7 or 8 years now and like any company they have some great products and some that aren't so great. I use the following products:

cherry suds car wash soap: nice all around car wash soap

clean all allpurpose cleaner: excellent all purpose cleaner - does not damage vinyl or fabric and works well for general use in door

jambs, engine compartments, wheels and wheelwells etc...

glass cleaner concentrate - works well for windows

all sol - great all around solvent cleaner

tcr 490: useful for removing rust proofing overspray or to remove heavy grease from paint or engines

weather shield: long lasting sealant

power pak: my all time favourite polishing product (excellent polising results when used properly - full of fillers and silicone so must be checked with alcohol to ensure there is no filling of swirls etc..)
