Guys,
I'm in serious trouble here. I left my drag tires in the back seat of my car for a few weeks. They left black marks on the leather. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. I am having a terrible time getting these black stains off.
I've been a bit successful using a product called Goo-Off, but I am afraid it is going to ruin the leather. In fact, in the small test patch I've tried, you can see the first layer of the leather kind of stripping away.
I've tried a number of other leather cleaners including Zaino, Blue Magic, Mequiars Gold Class, Simple Green, etc. and nothing is successfully removing the stains.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do. The stains look absolutely horrible!
