Have a look at a pic of my Skyline R33 GTR.Im striving for the same sort of finish as i had last year but cant seem to get it again even after using the same products--WHY.

I stripped the wax back using some Megs all purpose cleaner dilluted with 20 parts water.I then used some SSR1 on a polishing pad from my 7424.I then added 2 layers of Natty`s to finish it off.I dont have any recent pics to show the finish but its certainly not the same effect.I have started using a few layers of EX-P and the Natty`s , it helps but not quite as nice....

I always get confused with depth, reflective and wet--so how would you describe this finish( no harsh words please..lol)..Remember its silver and hard to get to pop...

That to me is pretty wet but lacking in depth. But that's pretty characteristic of silver and light colors in general. I've seen that AIO followed by UPP gives great metallic pop on any metallic color.

I would say you need something with a bit more cut than SSR1, such as 2 or 2.5, followed by 1, and then Natty's. For me, polishing always brings up the most depth, the wax is just the icing on the cake.

I went for 2.5 once a few months ago with the pc at 5 on a light cut Edge 2000 pad.Did make a difference to the light swirls.Have since gone for SSR1 since them with a polishing pad.

Im looking for a very reflective look, something that doesnt mute the metalic in the paint..So any suggestions, im always up for trying new products.

My first post is to see more pics!!! We don't get the Skyline over here in the good old US of A! And the G35 coupe ain't it! :grinno:

My silverstone Z looks its best with 1Z MP PRO/1Z WPS and then topped with Some Nuba of choice.
