Can you use abrasives on clear film?

Can clear bra's/film be buffed along with the paint if there is swirl marks on it? I am worried it will haze it if it is buffed. I am getting the Venture clear bra which i believe is not clear coated? I think the 3M stuff is... so can that be buffed? Sorry guys im kinda clueless about this stuff.

You are right, it will haze under a PC. I used 3M Plastic cleaner and polish by hand followed by Novus #1 to gloss it up. Looks great now.

I have used a PC with a finishing pad, Light Cut and also #9 on the 3M shield with no problem. I have not worked on the Venture shield so cannot comment on that but it would seem that a plastic polish, like the Novus system might work well on that type.
