i was wondering when my layer of 845 needs to be redone, can i put rmg right over it then a fresh coat of 845, or do i have to strip it? if so how do i strip it? thanks

Well I know RMG has very very light cleaners in it. So it may remove the layer of 845 on it. But then again 845 is a strong wax. So honestly I dont know...:werd:

RMG doesnt have enough cleaning power to remove anything.Tto be effective as a glaze it would require a dedicated cleaner or polish first to cleanse the pours of the paintwork.

You can apply it over your 845 and then apply 845 again over it, im sure you would get the glaze in any small holes in your 845 but it wouldent really work like a glaze is suppose to.

Nah, I don't think you'll have to strip it. I would probably clay it, though, if it's been a long time, on order to get a good bond. Put RMG on, and then put the new layer of 845 on top.

I don't claim to know the specifics for RMG in particular, but I asked a similar question about Menzerna glaze a while back (may have been on this board). I was told there are solvents in the glaze that will remove my LSP and I'd need to apply another LSP after applying the glaze. Whether or not the lsp will inhibit the proper application of the glaze is another story, but it sounds like it won't if it's solvent will help it cut through the lsp.

FELT i think in repesct to the solvents the same people would say that IW would remove any glaze beneth it.

I think if in doubt always remeber the steps polish/clean > glaze > wax In that order you cant go wrong.
