Glen if what your looking for is a definitive answer to which is better and why. I don't think your going to find it. It's like most of everything else on here, it is user preference and there are so many variables that come into play. Like the true condition of the paint, the color, application method and probably one of the most important. What was the user expecting and did it deliver. Posts 9 and 15 do a pretty good job of stating their opinions on comparisons, 9 even compares them to one of the more populars WOWO sealants, and to me that is what the WOWA sealants are tying to imitate.
I certainly am not looking for a definitive answer. That does not exist anywhere in business/product. Just wanted to start a discussion on the differences people see. For example, I am a user of Blackfire and Ultima. The diff I see right away is the BF does not flash off as quickly but dries with no smear so it is a lot easier to see where you ave been , where the low and high spots are and in general the application is easier.
stuff like that.

Well we certainly agree on the definative answer part. It is such a broad spectrum answer and being opinion based your probably going to have to just find out for yourself which is better or easier for you. It would sure be nice if it was easier to have clearer answers or side by sides. Sure would save money and frustrations. Looks like another visit to the dock box

I really doubt we will see a marked diff in performance. There are only so many ways you can combine chemicals,and if you are a name brand, I assume you've done the tests for gloss and durability vs competitors before product roll out. But many products act differently in application and behavior. It is those differences I think we can talk about.
The dock box test is a good example of that - 45 days in, they look exactly alike, so the diff is cost and application - winner: Duragloss....

Nobody is going to put something out without testing the competitors first. Duragloss is some good stuff and cheap to boot, take a look at my post today in the bonding agents thread.
