Can we compare WOWA sealants?

I am pretty new here but have fallen in love with the UPGP product. In 30 years of taking car of my cars, nothing has ever given me the depth/gloss when compared to the time to use it. But I see a lot of them here, everyone seems to make one, either put on like the UPGP or in a spray, or whatever.

What are the real differences here? Do any last longer than others? I read here and AGO, and have poured over everything, and I can see nowhere where someone has documented advantages of one over the other.

So I guess in the WOWA category...are they all the same????

Thanks!

Of the WOWA type I have only tried UPGP thus far. I have been super happy with it. Waiting 45 min between applications and adding a second and or third coat really adds to the look IMO. So I can't compare for you but I do indeed like UPGP a lot.

Sorry i can't help yopu either. You have only used UPGP and I've only used Opti-Seal. But I will say I liked it enought to buy more.

I've read that UPGP has a more sealant look, while OS has a bit more depth. Having only used OS myself though, I can't really verify if that's the case :D

so I'm thinking the new Blackfire, Ultima and Optimum products....

but surely there are a few here that have detailed a few cars and had to reorder, and tried one vs the other....

I have Opti Seal and UPGP (along with at least 10 other wipe on/wipe off sealants). I bought Opti first, thought it finicky to use and was disappointed in the look so Ultima was next. Ultima is still my favorite of those two. Wolfgang probably has the best look of any of the sealants I have, it's warmer like a carnauba. When you weigh in the time involved with Wolfgang as opposed to UPGP Ultima wins out every time. For me the combination of Duragloss 501 as a chemical cleaner/sealant followed by Ultima is a winner both in nice looks and durability. It lacks the warmth/glow of Wolfgang, which is desirable, but I'm done is less than 1/2 the time. I don't enjoy spending the countless hours like I used to on the cars. Get 'er done is more my mindset now.

In defense of Opti----- When Opti Seal first came out the standard foam wax applicator was shipped with it and it sucked. Application was a challenge to be polite. A microfiber covered sponge did a far better job as I found out later. I have not tried Zaino's wipe on walk away product so can't speak to it.

For what it's worth.......

Tex - thanks - if all these are WOWA, what is it about the wolfgang that takes longer?...this speaks to the heart of my original question...don't they all WOWA?

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant is wipe on wipe off after hazing, not WOWA. Sorry to confuse.
The time involved is waiting for it to dry/haze in order to buff it off.

One of the big benefits of the Ultima -and I assume other WOWA's- for me is the fact that I don't have white powder in the door jambs, roof rails and insignias...the car for the first time in years looks CLEAN.....as I never had the patience to do a true Q-tip once over for two hours, so there was always some somewhere.....

PRIMA Hydro-Seal is a gorgeous wipe on wipe off sealant and leave the finish looking like glass.....

I have Opti-Seal, Ultima, and Zaino Clear Seal. I like both OS and Ultima but find that Ultima looks its best after multiple coats. Zaino CS did nothing for me. I basically use it now for my brake calipers and wheels.

I always wondered about Zaino cs. I have opti seal and love it. I still haven't perfected applying it thin though.

While Wolfgang isnt WOWA its very easy to apply and remove after it has hazed. It wont stain trim or dust when removing it either. If you havet tried it yet you should as its a great sealant as well. It will have more of a warm glow the the candy look of the Ultima.

The 3 main ones have already been listed... OS, ZCS, UPGP. But what about CG V7? It claims to be a WOWA sealant as well. I have a sample and like it but I am not sure of the durability.
