What up fellas? Ok.. First off I'm working from my cell right now and unable to upload photo. But I'm very curious to know how this can work, I just got my hands on a 55 gallon plastic drum completely sealed. I read recently where someone mentioned this type of drum possibly being used as a water source. My ? Is will this work, if so how, if not why?

At the top of from there are two hOles sealed by plastic stoppers how and will this affect the setup, benefit/drawback?

Google "rain barrel" for instructions on how to put a hose fitting on side or bottom. Flow will be weak unless you're using it to feed a pressure washer, and then 55gal won't last long. Understand most mobile tanks are a couple hundred gallons.

One hole or vent is necessary for water to flow. If air doesn't replace the water you draw out, you quickly create a vacuum and not the good kind.

Thanks for the reply my man, about to check it out now. as far as the set up goes, i have a pw to do all the washing/rinsing etc. Im currently running a 180g tank on my trailer which is almost always set up @ one location. However, i just got my hands on an astro cargo van which will be used strictly for details, im thinking 55g should get me through a single day, but what do you think?

Hey man i just finished checking out these "rain barrels" THIS IS GONNA WORK... I'm actually headed to Lowes right now to get everything else. Thanks Mderleth

I have a 90 gallon tank and can make it through at least 4 car washes/shampoos with 90 gallons. The guy who trained me at Rightlook, used 90 gallons for a full days work....
