Can this pad be used with this backing plate?

Can this pad located at TOL: linky be used with the VBP-6C 6" backing plate located at CMA: linky for use on my Makita rotary?

Don't see why not. Both webpages say they'll work fine together.

Yes, but is the Orange pad that CMA sells the same as the Lake County Orange pad? CMA says their pad comes from Germany or something.
