Can I use Adam's pads on a Griots 6" Random Orbital?

Hello -



I just purchased the Griots 6"inch Random Orbital after reviewing threads on this forum. This buffer seems to be the one to get from all the comments I read, so I purchase one. I have also purchase two pads from Griots - the orange and red.



Is there a difference with pads between Griots and Adams? I thought I might purchase a white and a black pad from Adams as well to use on the Griots Random Orbital... Or is this a waste of money?



I use Adams Swirl Remover/Revive Polish (I believe these would go on Griots orange pad) and then use Adams fine machine polish on the Griots red pad. Is this correct or should I just get the Adams pads?

Why wouldn't they work? I use LC pads with mine. Just make sure you check the color codes of the foam before ordering: sometimes they're not the same between brands.

compatibility depends on the type of backing they're meant for afaik, in terms of size I think (not sure)the biggest that should be used for that machine is 5.5 in terms of combos, it's really trial and error but I think the rule of thumb is "use more abrasive product before switching to more abrasive pad.
