I have found that the ultra-suede MT's are great for final polishing after buffing Zaino but worried some about getting a piece of dust trapped and scratching the paint. The new polishing MT they have sounds like it would solve that problem. I will probably get one or two next time I get something from CMA.

I too have tried and liked buffing with an ultrasuede towel. However . . . I got so worried about rubbing something into the paint that I first tried swiping with a Miracle Towel to remove dust and then buffing with the suede . . . but I stopped after 1/4 of a panel because I was getting kind of nervous.

Why not just use the 'rough' side of your current microfiber? I've tried this when I needed the extra help with a thick layer of SG and it worked just fine. Besides, they call them "power scrubbers" . . . I wouldn't rub that into my paint.

Nothing speaks as eloquently as results. I get great results from buffing with Ultra-Suede MF's. That's good enough for me.

This is just a quick writeup... Paint was rough on this SS... Heavy swirls, oxidation, and heavy contamination. After 2 days working it over, it looked much better!

You can really see the heavy swirls on the hood here...

After just one panel, my claybar just looked abused.... but the paint was so much smoother afterwards

More heavy swirls and marring in the halogens

Progress and correction! Not perfect, but it was only a 2 stage correction, but still massive improvement.

Checking the work in the sun after correction. Some slight imperfections left, but overall about a 85% improvement.

Finished pics after correction and sealed with Zaino

ya, Jeff did a really good job! Being my daily driver, i was too busy and lazy most the time and never waxed it or washed it, or do anything other than race it! machine car wash??? guilty as charged =X

the headlights also got polished up afterwards so she's in tip top shape thanks to jeff!

i will bring my Chevelle and the Supra over to him when they are both ready.
