This is an 07 CS GT. The client did not want the full paint correction, just had some bad overspray issues that needed correcting.
The overspray was like tiny white dots, not like ordinary overspray I've dealt with in the past, this stuff was on so hard I couldn't even get all of it out after claybaring 3 times and buffing over with the rotary.... I was totally:sign
So after I did all my testing to see what it would take to get out, I was really at a loss. I tried claybaring, only got about 60% removed, rotary polishing did nothing, and even tried some 3M Adhesive Remove......all to no real effect.
So I called the client out to look at it and explained to him the testing and results. He said to just go ahead and do what I could.
So I clayed the whole car mutliple times using pretty heavy pressure (which I don't ever recommend doing) especially knowing how soft Ford clear is and knowing that I would be marring the surface pretty bad.
But I did it anyways and then went over it all with the PC, LC white pad and Zaino Fusion ZPC to remove the marring, it turned out beautifully and ended up removing about 85% of the speckles.
So onto the pics.
Here's a couple pics of what the entire car had covering it...:soscared:
THIS IS NOT DUST.
some scratches that came out in the end.
Now for some after shots, sorry I don't have any close ups, you'll just have to take my word for it that about 85% came out.

Thanks for looking,
