California Duster Gone Bad?

I got the mini california duster that didnt come with a carrying case. So I put it in the paper bag that autogeek ships there stuff in. The next day I saw the bag has absorbed alot of the oil. Is the duster ruined? It does lint a little bit of red on the dash (but very little).
 
When I got my big California Car Duster they told me to put it on some newspaper and let those absorb some of the oils, so whats happening to yours seems normal. And you're gonna find that it will leave behind little red fibers sometimes
