Caked on Brake Dust - 2002 Mustang - Quenga Detailing

The majority of my clients are people trying to sell their car. This owner came to me from my girlfriend's cousin's co-worker. She saw what I did on the BMW and asked me to detail it to get it ready for sale. The car needs mechanical work, so there was no use in spending a lot of time and money on getting the car looking GREAT. Quick clean up detail. She was impressed enough to start booking my Mini-Details for the car she just bought. Nothing big, but steady work nonetheless.

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash

Speedy Towel Prep w/ ONR as lube

HD Speed or D300 on Meguiars MF Cutting Disc

Eagle One Chrome Wheel Cleaner (wait, no Sonax??, lol)

50/50 of just HD Speed and a Megs MF Cutting Disc. Trying to find excuses to use up the last of this stuff. Works great, but the cottage cheese effect isn't worth it. HD Polish works better and I always follow up with HD Poxy anyway.

I just moved, so I don't have my garage fully set up again with all my lighting. Beige cars don't always show the best, but in person the difference was unreal. As soon as I pulled up to drop the car off the owner said, "HOLY SHINY".

Very nice turnaround, those wheels look like a nightmare to clean without marring

Yeah, I don't like cleaning chrome, but I always get beat up cars. Eagle One Chrome Wheel Cleaner eats up the brake dust like I was rinsing off dried mud. But, when you let chrome get this bad, the wheel is bad anyway. Chrome was faded/missing from all over the car, the barrels were rusted out, there was bubbling all over. The wheels need a refinishing, but a quick cleaning and they look 10x better.
