Business insurance, who is your carrier?

Hey guys.

In a past thread about insurance I noted that I had a really huge insurance policy in order to meet a local land developer/owners requirement to do business in his lots.

I don't think this business is materializing at a rate to make my $4k insurance policy worth the cost. But upon trying to lower my rates, my insurance guy was hesitant to do anything for me.

So if you don't mind, please let me know who your is your business insurance carrier (not your auto insurance).

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm Canadian, so all different companies.
But that insurance seems high. I've got a garage policy, liability, theft, loss of supplies, the works, plus a $15000 for moving cars around (which is unnecessary but required by the province cause they are dumb), and I'm only just above $1k. Without the bond I'd be at about $700/year.

I've got my renters insurance, business, and car all with the same company. I save 20% on the car, and get one claim free for both business and home/car.

(it is hailing now, so that might be my claim :dontgetit )

State Farm Fire and Casualty Insurance

-$500 Ded.

Ok, cool. Thanks guys. I called my local State Farm agent and got a policy for $800 a year. It's a general Liability, med, equip and supplies with a $500 deduct.

The part that was killing me with my other policy was how much of the policy amount was for the garage/shop coverage itself. It accounted for almost 80% of the price! So if you mobile guys have full garage keeper/ shop owners policys, you should look at your policy cost break-down and see how much you are paying to cover a shop you do not have!
