Bunch of questions...hopefully they can be answered

I have done a ton of reading on this site and I have learned a lot. I just want to clear up some questions I have so I can get going on my detailing.

1) Are Zaino and the 'AIO + SG' combos equally durable? Or is one recommended over the over just dealing with strict durability?

2) Is the purpose of topping AIO & SG with S100 just for a looks or does the S100 actually provide additional protection?

3) Zaino cannot be put on top of AIO & SG right?

4) For a white single stage paint (in decent condition), will a Clay, IP, FP, AIO, SGx3 combo be a good idea? This car will be sitting outside and not driven in the rain.

5) Is there a consensus on the most durable system? Or are there basically a bunch of different options that will do the same job?

Thanks everyone!

They're close. But the slickness and beading of Zaino clearly lasts longer than SG's.

Most use S100 to change the appearance of Klasse. It also makes the finish a bit slicker and bead better.

I've had good experiences with AIO + Z2.

I assume you're doing this by machine. If so, sounds good. FP might not be necessary, as I hear it is similar to AIO in cutting level.

Heh, you'll never find a consensus here. In my opinion, though, Zaino's slickness, beading, shine, and clarity lasts longer than anything I've tried.

People've argued one way as much as the other. Most people would agree that they are the top two durability kings, and that they are comparable to one another.

Supposedly it does provide additional protection.

3) Zaino cannot be put on top of AIO & SG right?

No one has gone out to prove this, but Zaino's official stance is that you should have a clean surface before applying zaino. i've used AIO to prep instead of dawn washing and I see no immediate adverse effects. I haven't applied zaino on top of SG.

Sounds good.

Refer to answer to question #1. Durability also has lots to do with things like whether or not the car is garaged, if you live somewhere with lots of snow or rain, and how often the car is washed.
