Hi Gang,
I'm sort of new to obsessive detailing but I have been at it for about a year and keep my Boxster looking really good. Won a Concours with it a few weeks ago.
Anyway, we all know you should wash, buff, and wax back and forth with the wind direction of the car. However, I have found that removing those fine scratches using Scratch X or #2 seems to work better if I rub back and forth over the scratch. Perpindicular to it. Sometimes that has me buffing side to side instead of along the length of the car.
Anyone have any input on that? It seems to work just fine. Buff them out with Scratch X, buff that with #2, 3M Glaze and then some Blitz...
Thanks!
Charles
