Broken Backing plate

Well my 2.75" backing plate for my 3.5" PFW pad broke.....I pulled it off the paint and it was still spinning and the thing came unglued and well...flew across the yard like a bat out of he**



I dont want to buy another one right now, so I'll have to wait a while.....oh well.....

What brand? Were you using a PC or rotary?

just makes me mad, 2nd time using it in a week and it came unglued on me and flew across the yard! Lucky me I had a 3.5" backing plate and switching to my 4" orange pad finished the job up nicely

BP using non structural glues are bad and comes off with heat or shear. cured setting glues such as contact cement are best !

so contact cement and I should be able to repair this thing? :woot
