Brasso

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I searched and did not find it.



I have a 2000 M5 that has plastic headlight covers that have gotten scratched. I tried various cures and none worked to my satisfaction. I remembered that Brasso claimed to work on plastic watch crystals, so I figured what the heck. It worked great.



Here is what I did:

Washed car.

Used two applications of Brasso per instructions. (very careful not to hit paint.

Wiped off covers with wet towel to remove any residue.

Used Plexus toseal



Anyone else tried this?

I just tried Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner and Meguiar's Plastic Polish on some pretty worn (320,000 km - 200,000 miles) turn signal lenses. It worked pretty well. It says you can use it with a PC. I'll be posting pix soon.
