Frozen Marina Bay Blue
4.4 liter twin turbo V8
617HP, 0-60 in 3 sec

Client’s brand new vehicle. Wanted it protected the best it could be due to the frozen paint option. Slathered this rocket ship in ceramic!

The ‘details’:
Dodo Supernatural shampoo.
Adam’s wheel cleaner/tire rubber cleaner.
McKee’s37 hydro blue.
Master Blaster to dry.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte.
GYEON Tire.
Metro vacuum.
Adam’s interior detailer and glass cleaner.

Beautiful car, beautiful work. Is it only me or does this have a similarity to the profile of a newer Mustang?

Hey, that copycat- styling remark is not so far-fetch. Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Chevy Malibu, Hyunda Sonata ALL to alike to my other half.
To me this M8 looks more Infinity G35. OK, more sacrilege!!

This "frozen paint" doesn`t seem to have the shimmer and bright gloss in the photos. Must be the darker shadows of your home that hide them, as the time of day the outdoor photos were taken do not do this color justice or your detailing excellence and coating gloss I am accustomed to seeing. Sorry!

AND, what`s with the Dodo`s Supernatural Shampoo????? Have I seen this particular detailing product before OR was it just something that had been lurking in the back your detailing product inventory and it was time to try it again (or use it up. VERY nice BMW vehicle to use it up on. Just saying`..... )??

AND, something completely different: How are you faring house-wise post-hurricane Ian? I had heard that home insurance rates were increasing "astronomically" for Florida residents/home owners.

Lonnie, the paint won’t be glossy due to the ‘matte’ nature of the paint. Dodo I’ve had and is a good choice for frozen/ matte paints as it does not have any glossifiers\ etc added to it.

We are pretty much back to normal, and rates have gone crazy…
 
So the"frozen" means matte. OK.
It`s an acquired, personal visual "taste".

Scott - that flat blue is very eye catching. How are the interior trims on these newer M`s? Pics say alluring, but they don`t convey the feel and smell :)
