Well I finally got my PC in the mail along with some Sonus pads as well as some Megs #80, a waffle towel, and mothers new Reflections wax and mothers Reflections top coat. After I got that, I went to Target go go pick up some NXT window cleaner, vroom MF towels, and some Megs tire shine.

As an early mothers day present to my mom, I decided to clean her 7 series. Its a 1997 and has only been waxed about 2 times. She uses the car to carry the dog in, transport furniture in, and even carry plants and large tree's!:nixweiss Don't know why she does that since we have a truck and a denali...go figure.

Anyways, this was my first time with the PC. I used a sears 10'' orbital before on my dads 5 series and denali, and it worked out OK, but not great.

I'm slowly building up my products, and well I'm short on cash so I have to get the "cheap" stuff.

Ok here's the pictures!

1st. Here's the products I used. I normally use Megs NXT or Rejex (for the denali, works REALLY well!), but decided to give Reflections a try. Found it online at www.autogeek.net for $14.95 and the topper as well (not sure on price).

Here's the front seat before. It was a MESS!! Had dirt, oil, mud, and a bunch of other things.

To clean it, all I used was 10 parts water to 1 part engine degreaser. Worked OK. This picture was before the final vacumming.

Back was same story as front...

After...

I then clayed the whole car with Megs clay. This thing got REALLY dirty...This was from a 2 sq ft. section on the roof!!!

After that, I then whipped out the PC, orange Sonus pad, and went to town with Megs #80. Took care of most of the swirls, but not all of them. Wish I would of bought #83. Heres after 83! Thats the trunk and roof.

And here are some pictures with reflections applied to the hood:

What you guys think? It turned out good I think. The car is SUPER SUPER slick now!!! The reflections wax is very nice! Comes off super easy, dries fast, and produces a deep finish.

Your car looks great. You did an especially good job on the interior. Well done. I like the Reflections as well. It's really nice stuff!

Great work!

The white is really bright and those carpets look 100x better.

How do you like NXT Glass cleaner? I found it to be the best, by far, I've ever used.

Excellent work! You really did a terrific job cleaning that car up! :bow

So how was your first PC experience? Was it what you expected?

Thanks for the comments guys!

My mom was really happy because she was having it with her car being dirty. Its odd how the house is always clean, yet the car is never clean? My GF is the same way, weird...

I found the megs NXT glass cleaner to work REALLY well! Pshhh, who needs windex!

My first PC experience was rather good. I had a hard time using #80 because I wasn't sure how much to put onto the pad, and how fast to move it around. I may have to get a movie for that.

For the carpet, I bought some engine degreaser and then used it in a 10:1 formula...10 parts water, 1 part engine degreaser. I simply sprayed it on the carpets, let sit for 2-3 min, then used a clean white rag to scrub.

that turned out excellent!:bow

not bad at all for a pc novice! the interior looks a WHOLE lot better, also. i'm blown away by that one hood pic...it really looks like a black car with those reflections!

good job!

:xyxthumbs

awesome work there. Bet your mom loves the way her car looks now.

I agree about the roof shot. I thought it was a black car too.

Great job.
