Well, an update, I did a complete new re-polish detail on my 550i.
Here is my procedure using a PC:
1. Menzerna SIP w/ Orange pad
2. Zaino PC w/ white pad
3. Duragloss 501 w/ black pad
4. 2 coats of Zaino Z2 Pro w/ ZFX
I still think white is hard to tell how detailed/polished it is vs. darker colors. But the car is soooooooo smooth it almost feels soft or 'thick'.
SIP was easy to work with, but it never 'disappeared'...I just used a consistent time with each panel. The ZPC actually ends up drying and disappearing. I would spritz the car a bit with distilled water to get a bit more cut and time for the abrasive to work.
The 501 was sooooooo easy to apply. Very quick step.
Here are some new pics.
