Is it safe for the paint and clear coat to strip previous layers of wax with Denatured Rubbing Alcohol.

Welcome to the forum.

Why not make a wash solution with some Dawn dishwashing detergent to remove waxes and oils from your paint? It would be easier.

The alcohol will not hurt your paint any more than a tar remover but man to do a whole car would be a bunch.

A referral from another client brought me this one. Never been detailed before and was in dire need of it inside and out. Claying alone took well over an hour. Correction was done with PCXP and LC green with SIP. Leather cleaned up with Zaino Z9/Z10.

That 5 looks great now Jeff. It looks like it had a little bit of everything on it....swirls, RIDS, water spots, etc.
Very impressive job of cleaning up that baby!!
