Most of you have seen this car before. I polished it a few weeks ago. He wanted another coat of sealant to kick up the shine for a big show this weekend.

He keeps the car very clean, so all I had to do was apply the sealant.

I used Blackfire Wet Diamond and followed with Z8.

Keep layering the Blackfire Wet Diamond and you or anybody else won't be able to open the door..........:D

I was born in 1959, and would love to own that car! Yeah, the car looks a lot better, mint condition, than I do!

Looks awesome as always, I'm not sure I'd have the stones to work on a car like that to be honest with you, I'd be so nervous, I wouldn't need my DA, my hands would be shaking enough.

The owner originally brought the car over to me because he had sloshed gasoline down the side of the car and left it there for three days before thinking about wiping it off!!!

He said it had come off BRIGHT RED when he wiped it with a rag!!!

I was able to clean and polish the area and ended up polishing and sealing the whole car.

Holy crap, what the heck was he thinking?? I've done that a couple of times and I empty the windshield washer stuff on it immediately and scream to the nearest car wash and that's with a nice clear coat. I'm surprised it wasn't damaged further.

If you wash the gasoline off the clearcoat promptly it won't do much damage.

But 20 year old single stage enamel... Whoa boy. Not good!!!:cursing::banghead:
