Well I recently got some black wow and decided today to give it a try on my sisters ford explorer. Results were good but I had some issues. I didnt use the 50/50 to pre clean since I had just washed and attempted to put on the product. Well the black wow would not spread for anything!

This is the kind of results I was getting:

Looks good but I ended up not using it for long. I felt I wanst using this the right way or something. Has anyone else had an issue spreading the product around? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
John

Follow the directions on it or you won't get the best results. This stuff is truly awesome if you're using it right.

and a little goes a LONG way!

Thats what I did, though I didnt do the 50/50 water alcohol mix since it was just washed and dried. Does this really make that much difference? I have always heard great things about this product but my pea size amount could barely spread and I was having to work really hard

Hey John,

I wasn't sure about the product either, so i decided to use it on my wife's Jeep Compass a small piece on top of the rear bumper its black and it was faded. I followed the instructions and i applied Pea sized product and rubbed it in and then wiped down with paper towels.I waited 48hrs and applied a 2nd coat. It looked beautiful gorgeous, it lasted less then a week!! Waste of money. If you are trying to get the color back on a black trim or bumper use this product Forever Black Bumper & Trim Reconditioning Kit.
It works great just follow the instructions and use the cleaner that comes with it.
I used it on my pickup truck rail caps and they look great and it has UV protection.

Good Luck

Great! I will have to try that out! Did you have any trouble getting it to spread like I did? Or was that just me? Sucks to hear it only lasts a week or so also, Ill monitor mine and see what length I get out of it. Thanks!

I didn't have problems spreading the black wow i used a foam applicator and just rubbed it in and went back and wiped it down with paper towels, as per instructions.
No trouble getting it off, since most of it came off by itself, the rest i used 90% IPA. I gotta find some time to post the pixs.
