Black Wheel Cleaning

Lets hear the tips and tricks on Black Wheels, specifically black Jeep/Dodge wheels. Just did a 2017 Jeep SRT, it was destroyed. I think the previous car wash places used some acid that etched the wheels. What are tip/tricks/products to use? Any harm in using the traditional wheel cleaning methods (Sonax, iron x, etc).

I spray with sonax wheel cleaner and speedmaster brush, spray off, then spray with carpro Hydr02, spray again and dry. Done for a few months and very easy.
