you probably mean scuff marks on the sill plate on the rocker panel. This is were most people leave marks.
You can get some Meguiar's APC+ to clean it up, or some stoners trim cleaner. They both work very well. Just spray it on and just a MF towel or terry cloth towel and rub the mark away. I use a detailers stiff brush when the mark does not come right off.
