Black S2000 Detail

As this car was rolling into the parking lot, I was hoping that it wouldn't get traded in. It looked so neglected, I couldn't believe how anyone would drive a car like this and not feel ashamed.
Well, I started on it yesterday and it is still not finished, although only the wax needs to come off and the small details need done. As this is a wholesale detail, the goal is never 100% but I can't just "polish" it. So I did the best I could. Only the trunk was original paint. The paint is in very rough shape overall in my opinion but the turnaround was pretty amazing. Hopefully the after pictures are good enough to show the difference.

I didn't have my camera with me today so the final pictures will be taken tomorrow.

Paint was hard and deeply marred.

Ok, took another couple of hours to finish up, but here are some photos. Some panels look very good while others have some RIDS, but they are on the lower halfs.

That is not a turnaround, that is a restoration! Nice work! Fun car to drive, what a shame the owner let it get like that.

Great job, man! I hope they treat you well... I'm sure that you sold that car!

Funny that a guy would spring for a carbon fiber hood, then never wash his car??? :hmmm:
