Black paint is a curse...

I need to take a couple new pics as I'm much happier with how the hood turned out. Here's what I did...

Claybarred, washed & dried, then went back at it using the Meg's #9 and the DeWalt rotary. After that I waxed it by hand with Meg's NXT and I have to say that it helped a ton. Looks damn near perfect now...and smooth as a babys bottom. ;-)

I still plan to buy a PC but I just don't have the fundage yet. I'm certainly no pro with a rotary and am hoping that the PC will yield better results for me in the long run. I'm always afraid that I'm gonna burn the paint with the rotary.

Glad that you are happy with the looks now just be careful washing it that is what scratches black is the washing.
NEVER take it through a tunnel wash you will be sorry if you do.
