Hello !!
This weekend I detailed an amazing 350z solid black. Some before pics:

Just medium swirls :

The hood, in carbon fiber, also had swirls:

The roof was in better shape:

After cleaning wheels and wheels wells. In the shade, the car looked amazing:

After claying, I started polishing the hood. I used Menzerna Final Finish PO85RE5 and blue Propel Advanced with my Metabo:

Is not easy taking 50/50 in carbon fiber:

I applied Collinite 845 to the hodd looking for the maximum protection:

I polished the mirrors with Einszett Chrome and Metal Polish and Wolfgang applicator:

The surprise:

I decided in that point that I should remove the swirls but not trying to remove the random scratches. I used Propel pads and 3m Fast Cut Plus and Menzerna 85RE5. After that, I applied Prima Amigo and Zymöl Glasur.

Thanks for looking !!

First off fantastic job, excellent recovery on some bad swirl marks. How was the carbon fiber to work with, I have never had to work on that and was curious what its like.

The pictures the owner sent are amazing, something like out of a calendar. Excellent work:bigups

Great job :bigups

Nice of your customer to send you some pics, it shows how much the owner appreciates your work.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks mates !!
The carbon fiber was easy to work. I decided using a soft pad with a finishing polish via rotary and check the results. The clear was soft and just in one pass the results were fine.

Nice!! Really nice!!! Gotta love black.

Great Pictures!! A well documented detail.

The owners pictures are off the hook as well.

Beautiful! :bigups :bigups :bigups

The owner sending you pictures is a great compliment to your work.
He is obviously pleased with the results as well he should be.

Great job and nice post.:bigups

It's great when your customer sends you pictures. Makes you feel appreciated. A big tip does wonders in that area too. :rofl
