Black Magic Spray Detailer BLOWOUT?

Hi all, just wondering if any of you have ever used this Black Magic Spray Detailer

I honestly don't expect much but it was posted in the Deals section. I thought if it was not at least decent for a mid grade job, maybe it would be ok for clay bar use and or on fleet company type cars for $3.59 a 16oz. Anyone have a clue or experience with it :think: ?

I tried it a few years back. Not too bad, as I recall, but I seem to remember many other members here not being thrilled with it.



As a wipe down after a wash to get rid of dried water streaks and boost a bit of shine, I think it's ok. If you think it will restore a dead wax job, you'll be disappointed.

I bought a few bottles when it was on clearance at WM. It's OK for a detail spray, but useless as a clay lubricant. It has some sort of wax or wax-like substance in it which gums up the clay.

I can confirm this. Im an employee at Kragen in Southern California, and we are going through alot of changes as a company right now. Including re-doing most of our wash\wax section. This means alot of products will be discontinued through us, and should be put on clearance.

Now i dont know if this is going on at all stores now, but in my region it is.

I didn't like the Black Magic spray detailer at all. I remember using it a while back and it was terrible. Streaked like crazy for me.
