Vehicle was recently purchased used by a friend. Inside was pretty nice, back seats hardly look used. The paint though was a different story. My first thought was "can i even save this thing?" but come to find out, the paint was fairly easy to work with.

Product list
CG Citrus wash and gloss 4oz to strip
CG clay lube w/ medium nanoskin
HD Polish w/ g21 on 5.5 orange b&s pad. speed 5
m205 w/ PC on 3in orange LC pad. speed 6
hydro2 on all surfaces
DP tire gel 1 coat with a slight wipe off

A few notes,
the driver door had major scuffs, most of it was removed with m105 w/ g21 on megs MF cutting pad. Speed 6.
the rear paper plate was TAPED to the paint. who the heck does that?
im never doing a 3 vehicle weekend ever again.

Donbeezy -

Beautiful work !!!
Glad the paint was detailer-friendly - you really clarified it !

Guess the Hokey-Dokey-Dealer who sold the car was too cheap to put a license plate kit on the trunk... Sad...

Just 3 cars over the weekend ??? Only tough hombres from Tejas can rock that.. :)

Thanks for all that and all the rest of that hard work !!!

You should be awarded the Detailer Badge, Whistle, AND the ClipBoard !!!! :)

Amazing job donbeezy! That's a stellar recovery!

How long did it take you? Sounds like it didn't take you long because you did 3 cars in a weekend?! I didn't even finish a car in a weekend lol! How do you guys do it so fast?!

your work makes mine look like crap! thats why! lol.

i had to rush a little on this one, owner was from houston (2 hours away) and was leaving the next day. total was about 8-10 hours, i saved some time by hydro2 and i rinsed my clay lube off instead of towel wiping (it was night time when i started with nanoskin)
