Black Honda S2000

The owner and I have been playing phone tag, over the last few months. On when we could schedule the detail. It seemed like the only time we could get it done was on my only day off.

So last sunday it was done. He told me of the great detail job(NOT) he got from the dealer he bought the car from. The trunk lid had rotory trails all over it, And the hood was a sad story. Looks like they used a wool pad with a hard piece of something stuck to it.

It was washed with ONR, then clayed

Polish w/ PG w/ org pad X 2

Polish w/ FPII w/ white pad

Zaino Z-5pro X 2

It was just an exterior detail

A few notes...

1) It looks like the tail lenses (and probably the fronts as well) either had some residue on them or could use a light polish.

2) As stated by others, before shots would be good to highlight the trails and such. I am yet to see an S2000 that does not have some marring. Luckily it is very easy to remove.

3) How does Trim Restore work for you on the tires? I would think that, due to it's weight, it would sling like crazy.

4) Did you clean / condition the top at all? I have found the 303 set for convertible tops to be great.

There is something about the S2000 angles that makes it a great car to detail.

Scott,

I have to get used to taking before shots more often, the front and rear lights were in good shape

The trim restore works great. It dries very fast, and I haven't seen any slinging off. He had his own 303 to put on the top.
