Black Hole on top of Polish w/Sealant?

I am wondering what your take on this combo would be?

I have a pretty good client of mine with a Black F250 and he wants a polish. Definitely using Poorboys, either Pro Polish, SSR2 or (preferably) PWS as I love this product.

Since it leaves a sealant layer I was wondering ya'lls opinon on topping it with black hole? How long would I expect the BH to last on top of that sealant alone?

I could always just top it with Liquid Natty's Blue instead. Probably the best idea but I have this 32 oz BH I have been wanting to break out.

Thanks,

Brandt

If you apply bh by hand it should do ok. If by machine it might remove some sealant.

If you apply bh by hand over sealant, it will last a very short time.... It'll look great but won't last.

Now if you used bh and then applied a pure sealant by hand it'll last

thanks ron... so in your extensive PB experience would you say BH over PWS would shine more than LNB over PWS? I know the LNB would last much longer on top of the PWS but his truck is dirty the next day so longevity is somewhat irrelevant plus I wash it every two weeks regularly.

I would be doing the BH by hand for sure.

If it were me............

I'd do bh followed by 2 of lnb .

Longevity should be very good, and then regular maintenance washes, mebbe dry with sg, and you should get some great results

That would look pretty good for sure. I was actually thinking about adding another PB spray product. I just picked up SW and love it!

Do you recommend SG over QD+ or Quick Wax + ?

The 32 oz of SG seems like a good value, heck even the gallon is too but I only want to purchase one of the three to use on maintaining the vehicles I use PBs on (which will be a lot of them).

QW is great stuff !!!!! QD+ is too, but if you were only going to use one of the three, it would for me be sg.

I lost custody of my QW, and qd+. I understand qd+ can be used as a drying agent as well, but SG is just soooooo simple.

QW is probably the hidden gem of the pb line. But remember QD+ and QW require a 2nd buff, and i'm fat and lazy.

dangit now you got me comparing the price per oz on all three of these...I really want the QW but it is not as economical as my other choices and a second wipe doesn't bother me when using these.

It really is worth the price of admission. But IMHO again, if you only choose one of three, it's SG.

But now ya got me hankerin for some QW. :wall

That's a fly that flipped over on my roof and couldnt turn itself over.haha

I have read that the longer you work PWS, the less sealant is left behind, so regardless of BH, a final layer of LNB would be warranted.
I have recently used the Pro Polish, BH, LNB combo and it's great. Pockets (June 16th) put my car on the PB Facebook page after I had used this combo.

Thanks for the info. I have been getting great results with pws and my duetto with either hydroshred cyan or rupes yellow pad, but I am working it on quite well. I've always at least topped it with spray wax or optiseal just for safe measure. I have been curious on the longevity of the sealant aspect of this product, the cut is great for the finish left.

Ended up going with pws topped with nattys bluex2. He decided he wanted the extra protection of two coats of lnb. We decided I would do bh and exp next full detail.
I will post a writeup eventually. I still need to post the boat I did last week as well. Here's a few pics for now. Camera phone pics don't do this shine justice.
