Black Car with lots of Swirls and light scratches

Don't know anything about SSR products but always use the least aggresive product that will do the job and you can't tell until you try as every car is different in terms of paint hardness. Also, assuming you are applying this by machine, different pads work differently with different products, so a harder stiffer pad may out peform a more aggresive product with a soft smoother pad but you the smoother pad may provide a better finish. I know people on here have a favorite product/pad/buffer combo that happens to work on every car they do but it's not that easy.

SSR 2 is stronger. Use that or SSR 2.5 or even 3 if necessary with whatever grade of pad you feel is necessary. I use SSR 2.5 on my yellow Propel cutting pad, and then go straight to last step product application. I recommend SSR 2.5, but it all depends on how bad the swirls are, and without a picture of them it's hard to tell.
