Bloody hell the first pics are painful:angry . That poor sweet car:( . The after pics are damn nice good work:wavey

How long did it take you to do that beautiful transformation?

With that kind of smile from the owner, I'm sure the picture doesn't do much justice to the car when seen in person.

Very good work!!!

*drool*

makes me want to try again on my S4...

Hey! I know! You can come over here to Boston and help! ;)

It took all damn day, 8 AM until 6 PM, including the interior. Interior, then wash, clay, polish polish polish. #20 took about 10 minutes total, apart from the 20 minute drying time.

LOL, Carl is obsessed with cars. He's OK. His other cars are: an '88 Scirocco with 288 horsepower at the wheel (he built it all himself, no kit), and a 944 turbo that he didn't think was fast enough, so he put a bigger turbo in it. His dad built a '67 L88 Corvette convertible... from scratch. Bolt by bolt.

I have an ulterior motive... I'm going to need some help this winter when I supercharge my Miata.

He bought the car at the auction a month ago. His other stuff is OK. Not Autopian, but ok enough.

Mosca- Nice to see some more pics, VERY GOOD JOB! I'll bet your pal Carl's enjoying the S4 even MORE now. That VW of his sounds pretty cool, and I'm NOT a front-wheel-drive guy.
