Black 2006 Z06 Corvette

This is a brand new 06 Z06 Corvette with only 300 miles. The car is brand new and one of my favorite cars ever, so it was a pleasure to detail. There were slight scratches on a couple panels which were probably from someone rubbing against it when it was dirty. The car is being shipped in an enclosed trailer to the new owner so I had to get it looking perfect before it left.



My process:



Wash complete exterior



Clean wheels & engine compartment



Buffed complete exterior with FP II



Werkstatt's Prime by hand



Topped with Natty's Blue by hand



Super Blue dressing on tires & wheel wells



Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer on interior

Even in the full sun, the paint looks deep, dark and wet!

Oh my, that car is hot. If it weren't for the stupid 93 octane requirement (best I can get is 91) I would have one in the garage. I'll take mine in Lemans blue, but your detail on that black beauty makes a strong argument for black.
