My mom's boyfriend has kept asking me to do his All-Road. So I finally gave in and decided I would try to tackle this with my PC, I knew I was in for a longggg day. Lots of Rotary Holograms in the fender, Heavily scratched trunk you name it this car suffered from it. Suprisingly the doors were in pretty decent shape.

So here was my Process

Washed

Clayed with Meguiars Blue Clay (You wouldn't believe the containments stuck to this paint

OHC via PC @ 5.5 Orange LC Pad

OHC/PG 50/50@ 6 Orange LC Pad only in certain spots

Optimum Polish at @ 5 White LC Polishing Pad

Menzerna FPII @ 5 Black Finishing Pad

Collonite 476S Paste Wax by hand.

Trim was done with Meguiars Silicone Free Dressing (Not a fan of it)

I tryed applying AIO, But it was not liking the weather here today. It started streaking pretty good. Sorry for the poor quality pictures. But you can get the idea

This is my best detail of all time, The Audi paint was extremely difficult to work with... If it were not for OHC and The Menzerna polishes this would not have been even close to this nice. Optimum and Menzerna make the best polishes I have EVER used. Major thumbs up!

I'm trying to get some better pictures. The finish really looks great, I'm physced.

I totally feel for you man, those Audi's can be a *nightmare* to detail with a PC only. Looks like it came out really well; good job sticking with it and doing it right!

Big improvement! I hear ya on the PC too, maybe even the Cyclo if I keep doing Audis and Corvettes.

The paint on that Allroad looks so black now. :)

I'll be working a 24 Hours of Lemans C5 Convertible soon in Lemans Blue... Beautiful car that has been attacked by the local car wash, If my mom would only stop.. Me being a perfectionist it drives me CRAZY to see swirls in such a beautiful car.

Oh it was also my first time using the Collinite 476S, It smells pretty decent, Applies pretty easily. But it will give you a workout for the day buffing it off.

I would have prefered to use a Sealant.I tryed NXT but it was acting up, AIO was acting up for me as well, It was VERY humid out on friday....Anyone else having trouble with finicky sealants in the humidity?
