Washed with dawn

clayed using CM blue

Polish w/ PG and LC orange pad

Polish w/ FPII and LC white pad

Zaino Z-5pro x2

Exterior trim got Poorboys trim restore

Interior

Zaino Z-10 leather conditioner on all leather

Carpets and floor mats shampoo'd

Interior trim got 303

Looks awesome, but lose the dawn wash. I hope that or the new body style is my next car, however it wont in black.
 
paint looks great nice work, but what do you use on those tires? They seem like nice tires and could look really great with some solid products. Could be just the light though.

I thought the dawn wash was recommended to strip all the old wax. Is that incorrect?

It does, but so does claying and polishing. Dawn may be a quicker way, but it can also lead to drying out rubber door seals and plastics. Quicker isnt always the safer. FPII will remove any wax you have, much less the PG/FPII power punch.

I'm gonng go against the grain on the Dawn comment. I just started reusing it. For a twice a year job, a Dawn wash is effective, yet safe. After all, you use it on your hands when washing dishes. I don't see any ill effects especially when many people will use APCs, degreasers, and other harsh solvent cleaners on their finishes to clean them down.
