I just spent 7 hours on an 02 boxter owned by a cute 40something year old lady. She asked for perfection. None of the other detailers in my area have been able to remove the scratches. Sorry, no pictures... I swear that I almost had a heatstroke.
This vehicle was by far the toughest ive ever worked on. She asked that I didnt compound the vehicle with a RO polisher in fear of removing too much paint. After I explained how it is practicly impossible to burn paint with my system without using pads made out of sandpaper, she still only wanted a polish. The detail wasnt sufficient (ofcourse) enough to remove the scratches. I still labored on this vehicle to the point of absolute exhaustion.
If it wasnt for the fact that she brought me food, water and other refreshments the entire day, I would have quickly finished and left.
Has this ever happened to another board member? If so, share your story of the infamous Euro black paint.
